I am now officially (temporarily) a Republican. I have made a contribution to a political candidate. I have never done that before. It's time for Americans to wake up and get involved. Do it now before it is too late. If you haven't yet heard of Ron Paul, Google him. Check out this video.

So so soy

Wow, it's been quite a while since I posted anything. Summer is just too busy. Anyway, here is a link to some interesting soy info. I don't personally eat soy (that I know of) but I always thought it was a healthy food. Well, now I know better.

No More Needles

Once again the subject of vaccinating children is coming up. I always had a bad feeling about getting shots for my kids but I did it anyway because that is what you are supposed to do. If I had had the information then that I do now, they never would have gotten a single vaccination. Please, if you have children, take a minute to read this article and then do some more research on your own. It may save your child's life. And don't forget to tell a friend. :)

Puppy Mill Dogs

You may have noticed a pattern to my blog. Where some folks choose to write interesting (and not so interesting) tidbits of information about themselves, I choose to inform everyone about subjects that I care about. At the top of the list would be animals, in case you didn't figure that out yet.

Anyway, today's link is to a video of dog auctions that are used by puppy mill breeders. If you don't know what a puppy mill is, the video will fill you in. Please take a minute to sign the pledge or at least tell other people about puppy mill dogs and not to buy puppies online or from pet stores.

Disturbing Chicken Video

I knew I shouldn't have watched this video. I have seen similar ones before but not in this much detail. Years ago I met a woman that had grown up on a chicken farm and she confirmed that the info in this video is true in the US also. She never eats chicken. I don't know how anyone could after watching this video.

Ok, so I went and watched some more videos of Ron Paul. I am getting more convinced that he's the man. I think he may be David going against Goliath tho. Check out this video. It's kinda like a commercial.

Presidential candidate worth voting for

Well, this isn't what I was going to write about today but, oh well. I watched this video this morning and thought it was worthy of sharing. If you, like me, are disgusted with the political situation and the lack of choices, then take a few minutes to watch this Ron Paul video. Maybe you have already heard of him but I don't watch the news so I hadn't. There are 5 more pages of video on YouTube if you want to hear more. I personally agreed with everything that he said.

Just Do It

I read this article this morning and it was relevant to my situation so I thought it might also help someone else. I always feel like I am going in circles and forgetting to do something. Since I am obviously not going to ever actually get more hours in the day (sleeping less is not an option), I guess I better come up with a better plan for getting things done. Of course, talk is cheap. Will let you all know later if I get anywhere with my new productivity plan.

Well, I have been futzing around with the idea of having a blog for awhile now and have finally done it. Thanks in part to my sister making one. I'm sure mine will be way cooler tho. JK. :)
